CS 1.6: Shield, FAMAS, Galil

Counter-Strike 1.6 will include the Riot Shield, FAMAS, and Galil, says Erik Johnson in a Computer Games Romania interview. These items are from the yet to be released Counter-Strike: Condition Zero.

Computer Games Romania: Do you plan to include new weapons, maps, models or options or will you just fix the bugs from the current version?

Erik Johnson: We'll be adding the Famas, Galil, and Riot Shield to Counter-Strike 1.6. There are a number of smaller changes, but these three will have the greatest effect on gameplay.

a shame the T's won't get something in place of the shield... perhaps they should get a flail. flails are good against shields. flails rock.

What the fuck?! Why is the Galil terrorist only?? The Israeli Defense Force uses it, not the Palestinians. Alright, that is a start of a rant, nevermind.

Yeh I wondered that too especially the fact its designed to fight against the AK which the T's already have so whats the point in them having 2 almost identical weapons?
