That map does own. I seriously can't remember one round in highrise where I didn't kick serious ass as ct. Back in the day I used to hate being ct for some odd reason. Highrise was the only exception. Man I haven't played highrise for the longest time, but boy does it bring back some memories.

What does it matter anyways, I don't see Mihn Le coming in here and spamming about creating the damn game. I've been playing for a long time as well, but you still are a newbie if you can't welcome new players to the Counter-Strike community.

There used to be an as_ map server that I played on, but it went down with the rest of the volaris games network. Damn I miss those servers.

There's gotta be lots of other as_ servers, just do some sort of name search in HLSW, AllSeeingEye, Gamespy, whatever. You're bound to find something, many themed CS servers around. I know it sucks to see a great server go down though.

There used to be server(s) that said something like "Assassination Only" or something, and it was always as_ maps. I did a search, and no server using any variation of "assassin" was currently playing an as_ map.



Only 4 servers were currently on as_highrise, and all were completely empty. The only other formerly popular as_map I could find was as_riverside on some old CS1.3 servers.



Oilrig seems to be the only somewhat popular as_ map these days, with as_tundra taking a distant second. Hard to find people playing on many of the other ones.



Basically, after a while of searching, I was completely unable to find even one assassination-themed server. That's depressing.

Yeah, I checked with gametiger a while back and the volaris one was all that came up, but it was almost always full. Damn I miss it.
