Ghengis, that map sounds really neat. Sounds kinda like BF1942 - lets just hope Valve don't ever introduce planes/helicopters into CS - it would transfer all those smacktards! (If you don't know what a smacktard is, look it up on a BF1942 website - there's an article which is like lore but I can't be bothered to find it now :)).

I miss the weapons staying through rounds the most, that was more realistic.

But most of all I miss being able to call for backup and actually having people come to your aide (in public servers)

oh yes, you can't forget a 200 ping for dialup modems...

LOL! As a T on Militia, if my team started getting raped badly, I'd vary between this and hiding in the top of the garage, with all the hostages hidden from view behind crates. So fun to watch hostages get mowed down by enemy gunfire, while I was triangulating the sound with the pair of bullet holes, and returning accurate fire through the walls. Such a pissy thing to do, hehe.

Hehe, kind of like how people never grasped that they could simply run into the door facing backwards, and it would open the opposite way? Your typical CT would run up to a door with his M4 out, and the T on the other side gets to watch a big long silencer clip right through the door. Guess where the head is going to be, and start unloading = dead CT.

I also really miss the APC in siege.

Yeah, I do too. I never rode in the thing for long, because it was a bullet magnet of insane proportions. However, driving it could be fun, so long as teammates weren't running randomly in front of you. My best moments with that came going full speed over two AWP whores, then proceeding to do wheelies in the garage, killing another 5 T's before it finally got stuck in one of the concrete posts and killed me. :) *Sniff* oh the memories...



Okay, so really I stole that story from some other guy on UK Terrorist... hahaha, fooled you all!!!

I can't remember since what specific version I've been playing cs. I guess since 1.0 or a little earlier. I can't remember any changes except awp power and jumping. Hmm, if I really miss something, it's probably the time before cheating got so popular. But maybe I was just too n00b to notice...
