Now to the real news! FLeK0 sent in word that VALVe has posted on the status of CS 1.6's Steam BETA test on the steam support board. The BETA will be open, last for about 30 days, and will include Friends, which was formerly known as Tracker.

Well now this useful program (which is actually very cool and not a gimmick) will be called Friends. It was said a while back that Friends would be Steam-exclusive. Well CS 1.6 will use Steam for every single user, so it looks like we'll all be enjoying Friends.

Tracker ("Friends") Is awsome, except that when I used it in 1.4 beta test, my friends always wanted to ghost :-/ (in other words, cheat).
