Dangki, you cant expect them to upload every single build of the beta-test. Just wait till the final 1.6 release, steam is laggy on broadband anyway.



Downloading the update via Steam is OPTIONAL for the FINAL 1.6 release.

Yes, you will use steam to launch cs. You can still download in the traditional way.



AFAIK if you bought half-life/cs-retail, its just an auto-updater. If you didnt buy half-life/cs-retail and have a steam account, you download what you need on the spot.



If your beta-testing, it treats you as if you didnt have half-life/cs-retail installed.

For 1.6, u should get the famas, the ak looking thing, the shield and pistol thing~i think thats it~cs multiplayer will never have LAW or some of the other things...or thats what ive heard...

There cutting cs from the thing we are on now. The only way to play according to that is with steam only.

you all bitch about cheating, and then u all bitch about steam sucking... steam is actually pretty cool, i dont mind not having to download gay updates at 5 kb/s becuase so many other people are trying to get it at the same fucking time.
