i have seen ppl do decent with the auto sniper rifles but not actaully good i've seen awp dominate the game but i've never seen an auto sniper rifle dominate the gun so if its so good why does it get owned by the awp?

AWP goes thru riot shield? I wonder what the rationale was for that one! oops. I mean realistically speaking the shield should at least slow it down, and if shield + kevlar is combined it should reduce the damage at least. I REALLY hope that one will get changed. It's time to put in another option to defeat AWPers. (Although...the one best option is still king: the Scout!)

I'm not gonna comment on people who complain about the AWP, because it's not worth it...



But... is the M60 still gonna be in the game? And is it still gonna be T only? Which means the CTs will have the riot shield and the Ts will have the M60...



For all intents and purposes, it doesn't make sense that the AWP could pierce the riot shield. I know it could in real life. But it makes the shield useless when you get 5/6 rounds into the game and people have bought AWPs. Maybe each AWP shot should nick off 25hp of your health. So you can take 4 shots so your team can get past an open area without taking fire.

Guys why should you get rid of the AWP? Because it is unfair? Well guess what, war is unfair. Do you think the enemy is gonna get rid of their snipers because they're winning unfairly? Sniping is the best advantage. And most sniper rifles kill in one hit anyway. I think they should keep the awp. I still think they should change the autosnipes to be more powerful though lol those things suck

Pro Clanners don't bother trying to learn how to use the autosnipers because the Colt/AK are easier to use and be consistent with. That doesn't mean that the Clanners are idiots or that the autosnipers suck. Its just consistent with the theory(fact?) that professional gamers only want to win the easiest way they can.



Its pretty much a given that the only weapons that league gamers use on a regular basis are the USP, Deagle, MP5, Colt, AK, AWP and grenades. Its just their loss if they don't want to master any of the other weapons available in the game.

I think that shooting some one through the shield with an AWP should deal the same amount of damage that shooting some one in the leg with an AWP does.

The auto seem to have the same recoil and accuracy of the USP which cant be right.

but my server (when it's up) -- will NEVER allow awp.

just because people are lamers with awps.



I agree - if you dont die, go ahead keep the damn gun, but don't rush with it. It is not ment for rushing - no matter how good you are with it.



there will always be some sort of argument about the AWP, I say DROP THE TOPIC - YOU HATE IT? YOU DON'T? YER A WHORE? who cares.



just use it like they would in REAL life, I'm sure in real life the snipers DON'T run into the firefight with a sniper rifle. they would probably use a automatic or a SMG...

I just hate it when people say AWP sucks, scout is better, I own you all, everybody sucks. Because there is no denying AWP kills in one shot when scout kills in 2.

But that doesn't mean I prefer AWP to scout. not at all. I hate the awp. but it is a weapon that makes you win games. And that makes all the difference with the scout (that I use in pubs)
