cs 1.6: hands-on

Everything almost sounds great, and I'm looking forward to trying CS 1.6.



But I have to agre on the scoreboard, not showing dead enemies, that is a big mistake, and I hope it will be removed before 1.6 FINAL.

So far it looks pretty damn good. I still hate the fact that the Elites suck. I wish they would consider increasing the damage of them. At least they did with the Glock.

Boo ya for new weapons.

The way they sound right now, it doesnt look like they will affect gameplay much... (i.e. not more powerful than ak/m4) however, they will be fun new toys!



huzzah to riot shield! now a riot shield along with a less laggy smoke nade will help stop those god damn awps fer sure!



...of course, you could always get shot from behind... BUT STILL!



i dunno about the whole +3 frag bomb thing... money probably would be a little more useful. but if they are only looking to influence pubs, then whatever.

Basically the three frag thing isnt that bad but I still hate the score board thing. Also, if the CS comunity beta testers really hate something can Valve change it before the final release? I hope that the cheaper guns are not better than the more expensive ones either



Also, where do we get the BETA and is there a limit of testers?

I'm excited about most things in the BETA. The only thing I really don't like is the scoreboard, but I'm sure that will be changed during the course of the BETA.

This time i think they are going for a more REALISTIC CS. Do you think there would be a little score board next to you out in the battle field telling you if people are dead or not i mean come on this isnt a bad chnage people will start being more aof a team and not running around like freakin idiots and trying to kill everyone they can and oh yeah people will probably be reporting radio messages alot more now! for instance, ENEMY DOWN!!!!
