this is a BETA. this means you can't expect it to go perfectly. and you can't expect to play it like you play 1.5 now.



this BETA is for TESTING, not so 100.000 spoiled, inpatient peoples can play.

i got the steaming pile working last night at 4am. i went to customize the controls and video settings and it crashed. this feels like 1 step closer to pay-per-play to me. you have to download the whole game every time you play 1.6 and it takes forever. i love spending time/bandwidth to download crappy default models. CS/half-life is so buggy that it crashes all the time requiring you to reconnect and download etc. my advice is don't waste your time downloading this program. wait and pray a regular CS patch comes out. valve really shot themselves in the foot with this. steam will have such a bad buzz it will may die a crib death. i hope so.

I want to "test" this Beta ............ Honestly Gemini if Valve releases a beta do you think no one wants to play? Think of this as a real world situation...oh wait it is...well you know what i mean...............
