-NeCoRo- wrote..From 1.7 onwards there'll be no more zipped up update versions of CS. Maybe we'll be able to move the cache files to a safe place and then just replace them when we reinstall instead of downloading them again?
Rizzuh, I have a question.
See i liked the update .exe version for one reason, when i wanted to reinstall. Seeing im narrowband im going to have to download cs every time i format, or stuff cs up... arent I? Please help me here.

You're very right. Rizzuh writes everything on this site and no one else ever says anything. Everything you see on CSN comes from rizzuh. Seriously, he writes it all. You're a pretty smart fellow. Also good disses, the homosexual gag never gets old, ever! Keep on this track and you'll be a star in no time.
this is all very funny. Hmm... of course valve STOPPED the release of steam 2.0 beta AFTER they DID RELEASE IT as reported on THIS WEBSITE because their network couldn't handle the load. all of the sudden we have rizzuh equating the failed release to an alpha (in so many words). get your tongue out erics bung rizzuh... that's nasty. salad tossing is a terrible habit.
I'm not sure why I'm typing this since you can't read and you'll just assume I'm rizzuh or something.
As for my opinion, I liked the article a lot. I think it explained some things that a lot of people were missing (and still are, from the looks of some of these comments). I do have to side with rizzuh (and the others), though, that it was probably going to fail anyhow since it was to be released an hour after it was leaked. Fail is really too strong a word, but whatever.Comment

I don't understand the tone of this statement, as if Valve was some sort of monopolistic tyrant. Want to know why content providers don't pay to be able to serve the patch? They get enormous amounts of traffic to their site, and all of those pop-ups and ads pay the server's bill.
rizzuh, I almost completely agree with you except for your words about the mirrors. I mirrored the 1.5 downloads and all I got was bandwidth eatters. :P Mirrors get nothing.Comment

It seems like, statitics are showing 98 out of 100 has broadband. To bad for the 2 ppl. But that's a small loss for Valve.
But even tho we can backup, it still really pisses me off. VALVe and others have begun to just forget people like me. i CANT get broadband, no matter how much i have tried, so i cant download it everytime. *angry*Comment

Not to sound negative or anything. But isn't this a bit unjust of you to ban the guy for having an opinion on you that wasn't even, in my opinion, something insulting. Normally this is a free country, and I understand you own this webpage, but come on, not allowing this sort of critisism is a bit tyranical. And please don't ban me.rizzuh wrote..
Thanks for the vote of confidence, but I didn't write the article. Also it has opinion written all over it, hehehehe =) Welcome to being banned, no one is in the mood for trolls today.Comment
