You guys must be getting updated later. The stock woncomm.lst works great for me...just remember to keep a backup copy of the original or you guys r fux0rd if they change the ip again....

Well, I might have to try this fix. I can connect to some servers but not to others (my clan server for one) which is pretty weird. If it works... sweet, if not, well crappeh.

Okay, if you can't connect here is why



Many ISP's "cache" DNS look-ups for up to 48 hours. So if my ISP does this, and I am running a server. My ISP will not get the new IP information until it looks for the update. This is why whenever somebody makes a DNS change, they are told by responsible admins, "Please allow 48-72 hours for the change to take full effect."



There are two solutions - edit the woncomm.lst to use IP's as some have, or wait for the server to actually get a fresh lookup. If you are running anything on your server to help "speed up" DNS queuries, you may be caching the look-ups locally as well.



Also, it isn't your client woncomm.lst that is the issue, it is the servers.
