Yea. BTW. I had listened to it. I was just comenting on how bad they ended it. I mean, they sat there for half an hour while a guy tried to get some d/l working or something. No one cares. It is the last show. Why change things now. The dudes are like 40 and they sit around and call everything gay. It sounds like my 14 year old friends at school. Anyway. I'll lead c-s if no one else will. btw...nevermind. Later.

P.S...I like how that csr moron used big words to sound intelligent. You are done. Stop posting. Or else i'll turn my hacks on in your server so you can bring the show back and talk about how "gay" that was. That is all. csr can email me at Klutter_pwns@hotmail.com so i can make fun of them some more.

Hey, the question that is foremost in my mind, is what ever happened to actual reporting? From what I can tell by rizzuh's "reporting" of the news is that CSNation is nothing other than a way for Rizzuh to editorialize events in the CS community and spread his spiel as "real news." Seriously, if you want to have a true news site, or even be a real reporter, Rizzuh, I reccommend that you get your priorities straight, rather than appealing to *your* "hardcore fanbase."

Obviously CSR had something going for it, seeing how the site was hosted by the almighty counter-strike.net, as well as this site. However, I think CSNation has become more of a joke recently. Oh sure, lets down CSR for never reporting news and the like, but I can just as well trash CSN for not reporting real news, but rather makes it up, or steals it from other sites. I have yet to find a truly informative article on this site. Now I know completely understand why people enjoy CS Central and the other news sites, well, real news sites that is.

For those of you who consistently say CSR is crap, that is your opinion. Of course, saying that CSN is crap is also my opinion, and because of the facist powers that be, my opinion will probably not be tolerated here, however the opinions that concur with that of Rizzuh will probably be lauded as fact. I applaud Rizzuh for his ability to spout spiel to no end and make people believe it, no really, it takes talent to do that. It also takes amazing wit to make all that clever writing, Rizzuh! Boy, great job....your sparkling humor has managed ellicit no response from me, as well others.

I still do not understand why Rizzuh holds so much antimosity for the show. My main problem is that Van and Steve did not force anyone to listen to the show. This wasn't a "Listen or fucking die" affair. If you don't want to listen, fine, then don't, but that doesn't give you the right to bitch and moan about every detail.....because you didn't have to listen. Plain and simple. Of course, I don't have to come here, of course, no one has to come to this "news site" as all. But oh, if no one came to this site, then Rizzuh might commit suicide or something to that extent, because it seems that he, as well, has invested the majority of his time in this endevour. See, no one likes it when the things they have worked hard on are called "crap" and "shit."

By the way, to that guy who mentioned that the CSR server is crap...well, it is. But why hold that against the show? The server was given to Van and Steve as a favor by the fellows at Recongamer. Apparently you are one to look every gift horse in the mouth.

So the general gist I've gotten out of Rizzuh's horrible attempts at humor and gallant effort at biased and attrocious reporting, as well as the horrible flames made by the 13 year old fanbase of CSN, is that this site is completly incapable of truly making news, or doing anything noteworthy for the community. By the way, I just have to say, gg for the hypocricy, I mean, lets down Van and Steve for calling things gay, then here we get children in this comments section doing the same thing. Good job screwing over any good reputation CSN might have had.

Hey Van and Steve had a good time doing it and we had a good time listening and that's really all that matters.

            (sarcasm)Wow, great editorial.(/sarcasm)

You say that the fact that people associated with [CSR] travelled together? Well gg, man, it's called friends, maybe you ought to go find some. I mean...you say there was no news...what are they supposed to say? "CS 1.6 has been delayed yet again!" Maybe if you had actually listened to the show, you'd know that when 1.6 beta came out, there were people who called in and shared their thoughts on it. I, for one, was not awaiting your opinion, but since you felt the need to share your's, I felt the need to share my opinion of your editorial. So, as Steve's name says, YOU SUCK IT!

Rizzuh is too concerned with being a personality and pleasing his "fanbase". This is a fansite for CS, not you. Register www.rizzuhnation.com if you want to crack jokes about people who have contributed over 2 years of their life to the CS community.

For those of you who don't know, this is the reason Rizzuh hates CSR so much: There used to be a CSR listener named Wacko, he ran a site called ModMag. Wacko was messing with Rizzuh one day and RzE called him some bad names and told him that his ModMag idea was the reincarnation of Hitler. Well Wacko said this on air, insulted him to ~100 people (most of whom knew him and were close with CSN) and told RzE. RzE became angry due to his rejection from the CSR community. He then took every chance he could to make them look bad and to make himself look better.

I knew this would come up. Let me just say that I have been with CS-Nation since it was formed in August of 1999. No other CS site has had a single driving personality behind it like CS-Nation has had with me. And we're very successful. Which leads me to believe that a sizable portion of my audience comes here to see me post the way I do and give my opinions the way I do.

And I'm not going to compromise that for anyone. Well written post, but simply because my opinion of CSR is negative doesn't mean that it shouldn't be posted on the site I've ran for three and a half years.

                    Edit:

I wish I could tell you how cliffe felt about CSR. Let's just say its hosting wasn't exactly a sign of approval after the first few weeks that CSR was on the air.

CSN doesn't steal news nor do we make it up. These are kind of baseless accusations, but you're probably a [CSR] so I exprect that. If you havent' found an "informative article" on this site then you should probably stop visiting us and go download the best of Opie and Anthony instead of wasting your time on a useless idiot like me.

Hey thanks for the golden advice. Guess what hotshot, when you put forth the work and effort to build something that hundreds of thousands of people visit a week then you can have your soapbox and even room to correct my errors.

Yeah I know it comes off as sounding arrogant.

If I can word it better: my opinion is that many people visit this site to see news with at least some bit of opinion, not force-fed "everything rocks!!!!!!!!!!!! rocks ass!" fansite blither-blather.

I'm not going to change that simply because it creates discussion in our comments, that are very popular compared to even larger websites (Blue's News?). Hell, if they create big discussions like this then I have a reason for encouraging real posts with substance rather than formal delivery.

We're a community with spirit and this spirit should be reflected on its websites. CS-Nation has plenty of competition and if you don't like my style, which I won't change since I'm a pompous asshole, then please give them a hit or two of your time.

I'm saying that you should seperate the editorial from the rest of your news. Seriously, as a news site, it should be run as such, in my opinion. At least thats what CSN is purported to be, not Rizzuh-Babble.org.

I don't really have a problem with you having your own opinion, but I don't feel that it should be folded in with "objectivly written" news posts.

Now, of course, I whole heartedly disagree with your opinion, but thats what discussion is for, isn't it?

He separated his opinion from the rest of the news post pretty clearly.

Let's just stick to making funny pretend domain names like rizzuh-babble.org.

Maybe is CSR had that ability "to spout spiel" it would still be running now. At the very least CS-Nation provides multiple news items EVERY DAY which is a darn site more than most cs fansites. I sure as hell can't name a fan site for ANY game that provides as much content and interest than CSN does.

You're overlooking the fact CS-Nation isn't just a bland newsmachine. If you've ever worked with rizzuh on anything to do with CS-Nation you'll quickly find out he doesn't take anything as seriously as he does this site. The way he runs the site and shares opinions on editorials is they very thing that makes CS-Nation actually interesting to read, and often funny too. If you want to read flowery diluted drivel, perhaps you shouldn't be here?

Ok now I censor people which is why our comments are so popular. Because I censor people's opinions.

That's the hallmark of someone new to CS-Nation comments. Whine about how I post news and then claim that there is some form is censorship here.

I think that what we're all trying to say here is that there's a time and place for fact and a time and place for opinion. When someone does a last show, it's not a time for negativity. It's not a time to bash them. It's a time to praise them for their hard work. For their willingness to do it. I don't see you, or anyone else giving up Sunday after Sunday and doing the great job they did. This was their free time. They weren't getting paid for this. And I don't give two shits if you're getting paid to do this website or not, how long it's been up, or if you feel like compromising or not. Because that's not the issue. You talk about your driving personality...yeah, it's driving, if you consider heading for that big tree driving. Because, my friend, this is a life lesson. The more you bash, the more enemies you get. The more enemies you get, the less allies that are left, which in your case, will lead to less and less readers. You've practically brainwashed your readers into thinking that the CSR show sucked. I doubt many of them have actually listened to it before. So gg, someone get the train out.

Rob is right, rizzuh gives up no time on CSN and he should take lessons from the (former) CSR staff on how to give up 2 hours every Sunday night between pizza deliveries.
