All I was saying was that when the framerate dips down, it isnt as noticeable as you would think. I can tell the difference but I dont play worse. And I believe that u guys are too late to correct me on that 30 fps comment. I was misinformed. Someone posted an interesting article on the other page.

Goto www.schroet.com and check out the members section, think if you havent already you may be surpised to know that all sK | use 480x600 res only....

That is incorrect. First of all, it's 640x480 resolution. Second, a couple of them use 800x600. Hah, i win.

        --------------

that because those 'l33t pro gaymers' used low resolutions back in the day and that is what they are used to, but im sure they will be better off playing in a much higher resolution.

OK... I think that a decent video card is probably the best thing out there... if you can get it to vsync, and stay synched, then there will never be any choppiness, and you will play much better (i know I do). Also, how the HELL do you play CS in a window? Cause my lcd is 1280x1024 native, and it looks like shite when playing at any of the cs resolutions (i.e. a 1.25:1 native ratio as opposed to a 1.33:1 ratio for CS resolutions).

well mate, 1280x1024 isnt a true resolution, as u gathered, its not a 4:3 (1.33:1) ratio. 1280x960 on the other hand IS a true resolution! shame u didnt get an LCD in that one eh?
