CS 1.6B Update

OMG IT WAS LIKE THIS LAST NIGHT!!! Is it working for anybody?

i uptaded my cs (400mb) on 17 minutes and i am on a 1mbit

damn why does it freeze when its loading .....is it like this for anybody here?

the knife is awful, aztec is a bit laggy with the rain, but it seems to be great :)

Hmm Mine just updated to version 10 (from 8?!). But now it's hiding among my other processes & I can't access it. Now what?

The couple of servers I tried out it seemed the shield was still letting bullets through when the shield user pressed left/right strafe. Same bug as always that they supposedly had fixed twice...

DAmnit how do you guys manage to get it to download? Mine is just hiding in the taskbar (icon not showing either)! I'm doing a defrag for fun now! Rebooting didn't help either... GAH!

lol mine seems to choose its time for working. I played one server and that server restarted so i tried to connect to another and counter-strike went not responding and i had to restart my computer

lol you guys are so fucking stupid you don't try to download an update during the night or else you will be left 300 minutes for a download. download it at night and it will finish in like 7 minutes

If your Radio sounds do not work in 1.6.. What I did was go to my 1.5 folder copied the: C:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike\sound\radio\ folder and put it into: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamCache\Counter-Strike\cstrike\sound\



And they worked fine :)



Also one thing the radio sounds are missing from the Radio Folder in 1.6 normally :|

I reinstalled mine, i had the exact same problem, but the reinstall worked.

Anyone remember that VALVe said they were going to fix the sound disappearing bug when you alt + tab your way out of your game in 1.6?



They haven't fixed it right? Atleast not where I am. Every time I alt + tab the radio commands can't be heard. Everything else works fine but those disappear until I reboot steam (haven't tried reconnecting to server though). Has this been adressed?

Heh, wanna talk about headshots in 1.6? Three with a FAMAS. Too bad I didn't get a screenie of my console, it was insane. And wow, does my FPS ever suck in that picture, it should be 100.

Edit: w00t! Steam is updating the platform files for the second time now since my reinstall weird...

nah i think its pretty cool and i love the new bots. the knife belongs in a custom pack tho not CS official.
