CS 1.6B Update

now after the updates finished downloading, steam does'nt acctually open, it just sits it task manager. nothing else happens. god damn it.

I suppose that rain is static (as in the drops being scripted to fall in the same pattern all the time) & not made in real-time as in Metal Gear Solid 2?! :)

lol foff noone forces you to play aztec... besides, I guess we are the little white mice in narb's mapping laboratory and we're having big fun running around and shooting each other, while he is the only one knowing about the concepts and intentions which the map's creation was (? I believe: is!) based on. I might sound weird, but I just appreciate that there's somebody who's still researching the art of cs-mapping in order to provide the ultimate experience. Amen.

Well yes they do actually, in every tournament I attend. Which means that it has to be practiced sadly

steam won't open in my system tray now and i don't know why, anyone have any ideas?

The "Attempting to connect to Steam CSs" screen is moving veeeery slow over here now. 7 yellow blips showing now :) This is taking forever

damn my steam is f*cked up.....i have uptaded to the new cs and now when i want to create a game the game freezes when it says "starting local game server".

plz anyone know what the problem could be or is it just a steam server problem

Make sure you selected a map from the drop-down box.

I left mine on <Random Map> and it refused to load, so I rebooted, selected de_inferno and everything was fine.

Finally got steam to update itself. Now for the waiting needs...

I want to try the bots to see if they are "smarter" than most regular bots.

Yeah, mine is crashing there as well... :| I got to play it once earlier today with the bots...They were a bit :S but ok, better then podbot...I don't like 1.6 really, 1.5 is better imo, and bring back BETA 7.1!!! JEEPATHON_2k And dual berratas...Classy :)
