Thats a very good idea, and I bet you someone somewhere will take u up on it, I know that various server companies hide little icons on the maps, when u play their dedicateds, so it sonly a matter of time before someone sells it to external companies.

Unless Valve pays a lot of money tot eh owners of the image copyrights of the weapons ten I am afraid they will have to keep them as if, No dubt there will be a next issue of Nextwish fixes for 1.6 final!

I never really had any desire to replace my knife in CS, and have been using the default since I started playing. I'm still trying to get Steam to connect, but from that screenshot I'm guessing that I'll be wanting to find a replacement once CS1.6 comes out. Hopefully I'll find the old default. :)

The comment wasn't in regards to the physics modeling, obviously, but rather in regards to the models themselves.



The weapon names are all real in the mod version, just not in the retail and beta versions. You might see it called a "Nighthawk" in your crappy retail CS, but the rest of us are all seeing "Desert Eagle" in our buy menus (well, those who still use the menus, anyway).



For reference, I got my name long before I discovered that retail deagles were called Nighthawks.



As far as ejection ports go, switch to left-handed models, and you'll notice that they're all correct. The models simply got mirrored over to the right hand because so many people are right-handed. If you play with the old default of left-handedness, then everything looks right. Now stop your ignorant complaints about the lack of realism in CS. :)

I finally got it installed and playable last night(not that I have been trying real hard). The new knife is not that bad of a skin, it is one that I would never use.



The new text, is not the best. At 1024x768 the text is huge and takes up the entire screen with the non-gui buy menus. I would like to see an option that lets you adjust the size of the text to something that works best for you. Planting the bomb use to be a little bar in the center of my screen now it is a large bar that almost goes entirely across my monitor, entirely too large IMO.



What is with the constant changes of the buy menu? Since they have changed I find myself buying the scout with the key that use to buy the colt and buying an aug with the scout key. I can't buy the FAMAS, AK, or Sig with my current keying, they all end up buying a scout.
