2141730... the wonid of a BLATANT cheater inside the server i usually play on... in italy, he looked at the wall, came around the corner, and got a triple headshot. then, he looks at the wall for the little door inside the tunnel, strafes around, and headshots a guy sitting there. later he got a headshot thru the bridge on some guy going up the stairs into the wine cellar... this is the first confirmed cheater i've seen since 1.5 came out, and it sucks. valve needs to update the VAC NOW.Comment

Vac puts out an incomplete update that addresses half the cheats out there a month after the fact and we're supposed to jump for joy, thats pathetic. valve will never keep up with the cheaters at this rate. and in all honesty the cheat developers will have a workaround most likely within 24 hours. But thats about right what you said - join hands and hope - Although I think you mean hope that cheaters feel sorry for all the honest players because thats about the only way the "battle" will be over. Funny that you call it a battle too but its more like a battle between an icbm vs my little baby sister.Comment

May i be the first (but hopefully not the last) person to say that you are a fool. To underestimate valve in the way you just did is just plain stupid. They've stopped the cheat that was most dominating (OGC), not to mention some other smaller cheats. Valve is doing the best they can to put a hamper on cheats, and they have accomplished at least that. The overall goal of stopping ALL cheats might not be possible, but you can bet that valve will use any means necessary to try and stop all of them. Not to mention making it harder to cheat as they keep updating.
Vac puts out an incomplete update, blah, blah, blah...
PS: If you want to use that analogy, it should go like this:
Valve: ICBM. Well funded, educated programmers that are supposed to stop cheats for a living.
Cheaters: You're little baby sister. More of an annoyance than a serious threat at this point.Comment

Spoonman, Unfortunately your the naive fool.
Cheaters: ICBM. dedicated, realize that this IS a war. Very good at subterfuge and deception. Have for the most part won this war with ease and I have no reason to believe they will stop winning it now that valve has "gotten serious" ha what a joke.
Valve: MY little baby sister. lack the dedication to really solve the problem. Never have fully realized the war that they've been in for 3 years now. For 3 years have been after the fact trying to stop cheats with close to ZERO real results. They have honestly never stopped cheats and this is with their code and what they supposedly do for a living.Comment
