This is what it actally did



*This vac update does NOT i repeat does NOT detect ogc 10, it only keeps ogc from loading itself because of ogc's built in VAC detect... this has been confirmed because of people using the older betas with a certain method that allowed them to disable ogc's vac detction



*This DOES render beta 5 and 6 USELESS, but there are ways to use the first four...



*However, this leaves those who use the bug in the first 4 betas to be caught by vac... also it was said that betas 1-5 COULD be detected by hlguard... and if they do none of the ogc10's would work.



(You can tell it doesnt detect ogc because the first four betas dont get detected, and they all hook it the same)

i cant wait for steam... they can update the client dlls seamlessly so a hook for a hack can be rendered usless with a single bit added...

because then VAC will be updated the next day, and eventually the cheaters, not ppl working for valve and getting paid, will give up.

Your always the rude 12 year old immature kids who always accuse everyone of hacking. The other day I played Iceworld 25-1 on a newbie server and got accused of hacking by some morons. All I did was camp with an aug, no one has body armour or helmets so they die with a few good shots in the neck area with the aug.



People like you are what piss me off more then hackers. If someone's hacking you can atleast kick him. No one gets kicked for bad attitude.



Anyway I don't cheat and I probably hate them more then anyone. I get so angry at my friends who, despite not cheating, seem to think VAC is never gonna work properly. Cheaters suck and are gunna die. End of story.

That's not true. Steam is simply a push system.



Right now, custom stuff isn't possible because the caches are automatically corrupted, forcing a re-downloaded. When CS 1.6 uses Steam, I'm sure it'll be possible to replace the sounds and stuff. What's more is that the load times will be a lot faster than they are now because only updates and stuff you don't have are downloaded. This means narrowband users don't have anything to worry about, either.

The OGL WH by Phar Lap is useless anyways (yes I tested, I'm a trysexual :p) so the only hack we have to fear is the OGC updates, but seeing how effective VAC is, I think we can play cheater-free for somtime, until this shithead (System) releases the code again. Or if Phar Lap starts making private hacks for money like soooo many asswipes would actually pay for. What can I say. They MUST suck if they would pay for a cheat :p

You also have to take into consideration the private hacks that people make themselves for their own use. Those are a very large pain in the ass, but not nearly as bad as OGC because there are fewer in numbers.
