Good versus Evil........Its like a game of chess, moves and counter-moves....But you have to admit the counter-moves by Valve are becoming swifter and more presice, aiming for the Headshot that will end this reign of Cs terror.....Sometimes it seems that the Cs community is like the Hoosties being held against thier will, while Valve (Ct Warrior) attempts to rescue us from the Evil CHEATLORD......If you listen carefully, you can allmost hear the Valve team say: Lay down some cover fire, were goin in......go, go, go......<G>
You have quite the imagination don't you?

I just checked with Open GL 2.0 on my secure server and it sees it!!! less than a day after its release!!! Valve you guys are the best. Keep up the good work.. I'm the server op of my clans server and it is nice to know that it gets safer with every passing day. CSNation you do a fine job of keeping us informed as well.. Thanks...

Long Live VAC!!!! Long Live CSTRIKE!!!

The crappiest thing is that it STILL requires a manual restart of the server when VAC updates. That needs to be fixed pronto =/

Also, in 1 of the recent VAC updates it seems flashbangs are starting to not work consistently again. 1.5 seemed to fix flashbang probs pretty much(hadn't had a dud for weeks on me), but I had 4 duds in front of me in 1 map today =/

But I think they are getting better at it. Even in its imperfect state its doing a great job.

i played with OGC 2.0 on a secure HLGUARD server 1.005, 2 times it said:

there are cheats found on your system. I think the HLguard auto-updates, they will catch OGC2. My WON id was later refused by servers, i think i am banned from al servers
LOL I was just in heaven seeing these cheaters in peril. Just thought I would share this with you guys, looks like the wonID thing is working well too!

Please wait while the VAC has been updated.

That is the problem. VALVe has focused mainly on OGC and not the other wallhacks that are released. They have to attack the entire cheating ``community'' and not just one hack in general.

heheheh classic! I really think valve is doing a great job - even the false-positives weren't even a major problem, and the speed of this release shows the cheat makers to be the amatures they really are.
well false positives would be the worse thing to happen if they do the perm ban...

Those hackers are sure giving Valve some unnecessary grief. Imagine if all those hacks never existed and Valve had more time & resources to pump out another game?

HAH that'd be like trying to cure the human nature to cheat in some people, damn near impossible.

While there are still working wallhacks... HLGuard blocks these. And allways will.
