    it stops aimbots by sending information to clients that there are hundreds of spectators all over the place. I'm guessing in the future cheat makers will distinguish the false coordinates from the real ones
    So that's why the cheater I was talking about kept aiming at the ground for no apparent reason... It didn't stop the cheats in full, but by his rec it seemed to work rather well. (he was like 4-11 or something, around Gpig's average scores.)

    For those wondering I have a demo of him cheating in which it's incredibly obvious to those who know anything about cheats.

    name: {+}BULLSEYE{+}

    WonID: 1428840

    If you want the demo contact me on IRC channel #CSNation on gamesnet. I like banning cheaters from everywhere. ^^

      Couldn't someone hack that ip? I mean it's certainly possible right? This would put the VAC out of commission for awhile (could).

      btw we should have the option to view related stories or not

        heheheh classic! I really think valve is doing a great job - even the false-positives weren't even a major problem, and the speed of this release shows the cheat makers to be the amatures they really are.

          So basically that entire post of obvious questions was a red herring for your real question.

          I'm not making that an option, so if someone doesn't like it they should add another site to their bookmarks. I was joking about creeping featurism, making everything on this site an option would be very counter-productive.

          Now let's not spawn another Exo, stay on topic please.

            Valve is keeping on OGC like white on rice on a paper plate in a snow storm. :P

                        It was posted to the mailing list. I was going to post it just seconds after scr0llwheel did.

                          LMAO! :) I posted my "update" on the other vac update because at the time I visited the page this morning, CS-NATION didn't have it up yet, so I thought "What the hell" :)

                          Oh and in regards to the OGC OpenGL HACK 2.0, it was released yesterday and VALVe get's it in a updated VAC one day later (today), very fast work.

                            valve is finally learning how to update VAC quickly enough that few people even have access to the cheats while they work, although i don't see why they update VAC constantly only to do nothing to the cheaters, valve is almost there with VAC though...

                              Good versus Evil........Its like a game of chess, moves and counter-moves....But you have to admit the counter-moves by Valve are becoming swifter and more presice, aiming for the Headshot that will end this reign of Cs terror.....Sometimes it seems that the Cs community is like the Hoosties being held against thier will, while Valve (Ct Warrior) attempts to rescue us from the Evil CHEATLORD......If you listen carefully, you can allmost hear the Valve team say: Lay down some cover fire, were goin in......go, go, go......<G>

                                If someone got caught cheating, does/will it ban them by WONID or by IP or by both? I think they should do both, so then cheaters are banned from CS VAC servers forever.

                                BTW, just off to a different subject, I like how the hostages look in CS:CZ. They are tied up and stuff, 1337.
