I don't watch demos, I watch other people play when I'm dead, from first person view. I'm not gonna waste my time going to go download demos and play them but I'm not gonna pass the chance to watch other players to see any 'tricks' they pull off.

Frankly, no it is not. One brief look at the Steam forums in general show that. It's dominated by 12-16 year old teens with raging hormones.

Counter-Strike Source 4 lyf! Also steam needs < 70 ms ping option. less than 50 or less than 100 can make it hard to find a large variety of low ping servers without a lot of high pings (70+) getting in the way.

Yeah, I can;t wait to see what this does to the community.. if they can keep gameplay fast and tight this is a good thing.. except we all will need to seriously update our rigs to play... 9600's or higher...

ya, but not 70, they need a little bar where u can customize it, like, 54 ping, or 68, or something, u know? not just 5's and 10's

I voted for it being 'okay'... I'm not exactly BLOWN away by it yet however there is still time for them to sort out the overly bent over character models and the weapon skins.

I would use the steam server browser if it would save my favorite servers. Everytime I add a server, next time i start up steam and look at the favorites tab...empty. so i use all-seeing eye instead.

I used to always use ASE over the awful ingame browser. However, Steam's browser works quite well for me and have since switched to that.
