at least in xbox, you don't have to deal with steam. too bad i don't have an xbox, xbox like sounds cool. ;]

Actually the lightning sound effect on aztec isn't from a CT crossing the birdge or any dumb stuff like that, its actually timed each time a north Californian sea lion dies from water pollution (since a sea lion dies every 15 seconds, the same amount of time it takes a CT to buy a gun and cross the bridge.)
So by getting rid of the lightning sound effect your taking away Narby's liberal beliefs on the sea lion population in Northern Calif. You lower end PC users should all be ashamed of yourselves.Comment

if julio caesar is right and not a big bser, then that is pretty interesting things like this add an extra dimension to CS.
The lightning effects are good you can use it to sneak up on people. Lets say your walking the water you want to leave the water but not give away your position if are, "rumble rumble rumbly" the lightning strike thunder follows you can safely exit water with out any near by enemies hearing a thing. It's in the game for the mean time so learn to use it to your advantageComment

Not bsing, more like doing a elaborate joke to make people think I'm actually serious. I'm not saying anyone is dumb, though.

The CSX poll was the first one in a few years that I haven't voted on, simply because none of the options were valid in this case. In other words, there wasn't an "I own it and think it sucks" option. It's just an excercise in frustration, really, as the controls leave you feeling like a crippled hippo in a bar fight, unable to do what you do without thinking in the PC version.
As far as the ambience in aztec, well... I've already voiced my opinions on that subject quite clearly in the other comments.Comment
