I actually experimented with it a sec ago, and at middle range its bloody deadly. I still wouldn't dance with an AWPer with one of these in my hands though, no sirrrrr.

In real life, both the SG-550 and G3/SG1 can fire in full auto mode. Moron.

Don't start that argument back up. There are fully automatic variants of both guns, but the sniper accurized version of the SG550 is semi-auto only. The G3-SG1 might have a full auto mode still (as this pic might imply), but it's hard to say, as info about that gun is very difficult to come by (seeing as it was so quickly replaced by the PSG-1).

The sniper modified version of the G3 still has a full auto mode. If you can find me a pic of the SG-550 sniper's fire select group, I'll believe you.

Yeah, but I like doing things the old fashioned way. I dont like autobuy as it pisses me off when it buys the wrong things and wastes my money. When u use rebuy, you could have not wanted that extra nade, or maybe you have enough money to buy an ak, but thanks to the rebuy, you might not.

it's gonna probably take a little longer for people to 1) realize that its there and 2) know what button to press to use it.

I havent seen a rebuy (i dont think). i dunno, i dont pay attention to the buy menus anymore since i got it all memorized.

i got it solved now. i use the old-school menus, so theres no autobuy+rebuy.

These two features are so stupid. I think it's just VALVe's way of trying to tide us over while they continue to ignore everything else we want. "Hey, guys, look! Rebuy! Autobuy! Uh, no, the shield is still buggy. You still can't play in offline mode yet. Next question. Where is CZ? Well, it's uh.... hey have you guys heard of the rebuy button yet?"

I use buy scripts, so really I never had a need for autobuy/rebuy. The autobuy seems like a really good tool for newbies though.
