The funniest abuse I ever received was when someone rebound mouse1 to say BANG. BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG every time I clicked.

Then I executed by backup.cfg and my binds were back to normal.

What's the syntax of execlient? I feel like using it for non abusiveness. Also, can you bind 2 actions to the one key? I feel like doing on one of my friends what T|2i|34L described, but leaving the firing action intact.

Nope, hardcore buying the weapons is all I need. Never liked being dependent on stuff from outside the game. Hearing my friends argue that freezetime should be removed because "people can just script" makes me sick, I mean what has a community come to when people are REQUIRED to spend time learning to script in order to be able to play the game on a reasonable level without arriving last in any battle in the game with a large "n00b" sign on their head.



In short, I don't accept scripting, but I accept the scripting of others as long as they respect those of us not scripting, and their scripts don't grant them unfair advantages.

I have keys binded for some guns+2clip (except awp+1).

at home i use my own custom buy script in cs 1.5 and 1.6 .. because in my country lag is a very ocasional thing to happen in the servers, like 10 ping to 150 ping peaks, so buy script it helps a lot in On-line servers... when im in LAN i dont use any scripts .. just hardcore buying :P

i use scripts all the time. much quicker than pressing 3 keys to buy one thing. i laughed at Xect's post, lol m8 you can eat my dust while you buy your weapons and I burn off ahead and take care of business. and the auto switch script is a must have. i hate scrolling the mousewheel then pressing the mouse button to select the weapon, that gets you killed every time. scripts it is im afraid.

I can buy rifle, ammo, nade, 1 fb, Kevlar and brain bucket, pistol, and secondary ammo all in under 3 seconds without aliases. It just takes some dedication to learn the keys and punch as you go. Some mental facalities to know how much you can spend and prioritize what you need and do the buy.

Much like Buddah, I too can buy everything I need in a very short time (3-5 seconds). The only determinant in how long it takes me to buy is connection to server. Scripts are not necessary at all if you know what you are doing.

or you could hit one button and have it all done in 3/4ths of a second.

I've always seen scripts as cheating, but only on servers where the freezetime is 0. Wish there was a way to disable the use of scripts so that on servers like that, the script kiddies aren't always the first out of the gate.

I only use buy scripts on servers that I ping more than 150ms to.



Other than that I usually hit B, 4, 1, B, 8, 2, etc in less than 2 seconds time. Doesn't take long really. Especially when I bind F1 as an alternate to buy much faster.



And I have no problems with taking care of business on servers with no freezetime.

i find it easier to play without scripts.. i guess I'm just used to the buy menus
