The MP5 is not stronger, the hit box fix made it stronger lol. Since its low recoil and fast ROF, its a headshot machine up close.



The Famas is nasty long distance with the burstfire mode...but on semi, it has no range long distance. But its insane upclose. I think the Famas will get used alot in inclosed maps such as inferno, prodigy ect...



The Galil is as powerful as a colt with little recoil. Excellent gun. I do not think its over powered at all. Think of it as the shield counter-measure. Run to the side, even if hes trying to stay with you by staying faced...your still gonna kill him or do a heavey amount of damage. Then you got your pistol for when he thinks your reloading it lol. The Galil has nice range, but the AK is better long distance with the 2-3 shot burst fire.



The Shield now that the exploits are fixed is great. Very useful on CS maps...and can push T's back from rushes on DE maps, making the game that much more interesting. Also is a great counter-measure against snipers. And ONLY snipers. So easy to be killed, specially if your the only one rushing into battle. I love the shield and think it added alot to CS. New strats and tactics to counter it or win with it.

So public play with shields is no longer RUSH/Plant/BOOM OR DEFUSE



Its now completely team based if CT's use the shield. I my self find it very exciting facing a couple shields...makes the game alot funner. Everyone that has been whining about it either just sit there and shoot the shield then say OMG when they reload and get pelted down. Or are sniping and die because the shield gets so close to them the sniper rifle is useless. This is where you see the AUG and SIG come into play more. Mid-distance sniper rifles but also great close range.



Lol and on topic. I think CS does belong on the computer, and HALO is finally coming to its rightful home in 3 days. First Person shooter definitly belong on the computers, some exceptions include Metroid Prime, timesplitters 1 and 2. All though woulda been nice to see Metroid Prime multiplayer...woulda been interesting.



Anyways just my two cents.

Forgot to mention something. The shield can get annoying if the entire team rushes with it, but its jut teh same of a entire team of T's camping the garage on militia with paras lol. Bleh, each team has their annoying parts, just gotta get use to them.

It feels like usp and deagle are different for some reason. I actually like using deagle alot now while I don't even like using usp on pistol rounds. Deagle seems alot better now. If I'm close range and I killed a galil user I'm going to pick his galil up and keep the deagle out.

The Galil's got way more recoil and with the 35 round clip, it's obviously ment for close range use.

Actually i find the FAMAS burstfire at long range good for headshots. Since if you crouch the three shots are fairly close and if you aim for the head its a one shot kill(i refering to actually shooting it, not the 3 bullets it uses)



So the FAMAS is a great weapon with aim, i hardly ever go full auto with it.

I think you'll find that they both have a second hand grip which is actually used in-game. They are 2 handed guns.

I'm too used to the mp5 to consider the galil over it. Also the mp5's recoil at short ranges is easily controlled whereas the galil goes off considerably (slightly more than the m4a1). The famas is a joke yes. It really can't beat out the AK over long distances and the 3 round burst although good for headshots medium ranges really wouldn't fare well against anyone with a better gun than a mp5.



They also need to incorporate the magazine system into this game (like the one they use in DOD)...I waste two whole galil clips and i'm stuck with a half arsed 20 bullet clip? same with the famas too.



As for the CS on Xbox, definetely checking it out because sometimes chilling with yer friends over a 4 player console fps is quite enjoyable. Comon most of us have been playing goldeneye when UT was all the rage.
