beta 7.0 really miss those times.

cs sure has changed a lot.

to be fair CS's longest life-span has been the retail days, so that should of been split into 2 (1.0-1.3/1.4-1.5) as opposed to mid-late betas(beta4-6/beta7+).

I started cs a week before beta 7 came out, so I am barely the good old days. I remember I hated the new player models when 1.0 came out they just looked way to differn't, but when I look at the old models again they look sorta cartoony. But I think cs has evolved for the better although I would like it a bit more realistic (although that probly wouldn't work right, thats just the kind of games I lean twords).

i started in beta 6 but what puffy already said i played like 10 hours then for a week and got back on tfc (lol) when beta 7.0 came I really started..

Retail 1.0-1.5 is 3 years of CS. I'd hardly call someone playing since the earlier retail versions a beginner, there's probably CAL-i players that haven't ever touched a CS beta.

Yeah, I would say that most started with retail or later.
