For the new poll... galil will join the ranks of the uberpowered weapons, and then VALVe will see that Ts are actually balanced with CTs and will nerf the Galil until it is pointless also. Always happens.

I doubt we'll see much use of the 3 new weapons in leagueplay.. The Famas and Galil won't be used that much because when you can't afford a M4 or AK the MP5 is now a good option again since it's stronger (like in the old days).. The shield won't be used as much aswell because I can't see much use to it in a 5v5 clan warsituation, but maybe I'm wrong.. The DE will be used less aswell because the Glock is usefull now, almost as strong as USP.. So I think in 1.6 leagueplay you will mainly see these weapons being used: default pistols, MP5, AK, M4 & AWP..



Publics are a whole different matter, there you can use anything really, and just have fun with it..

I think Galil will join those weapons, but I never use the famas when on CT. I like the M4 more than the famas.

I didn't think the mp5 had gotten any stronger.. just the glock has gotten stronger. The galil is the new mp5 for terrorists, only more power and more firepower. The mp5 is still better than the famas IMO.. because those 5 rounds make a lot of difference to me. Some of the things that will be interesting to see used in match play are the new smoke grenade and the shield. The smoke grenade provides much better cover than it used to, that combined with the modified aztec DD area.. expect to see more successful terr rushes. The shield is great for rushing terrorists.. too bad they can only pick one up. I also think you will see CT's using the shield to peek with a larger degree of safety (no fear of pickoff). CT's who are rolling in dough can buy a shield AND a rifle.. use the shield to peek and then fall back and snag the rifle for positional defense. But other than those limited situations, this is still ak, m4, awp CS.

some people are so wrong with the guns...

galil is a good weapon much like the mp5 and i think it will be used quite a lot...i now hardly see people with the 3/1 (now 3/2)

famas is laughable yes...but somtimes it has surprised me with its burst fire.

the shield...well...it does what it does and is good at it.

This is a pretty good pool question. The Gali is awsome, I sucked with the AK before but now I get head shots like crazy with the Gali. The FAMAS sucks, I've seen lots of people use it alot but in my oppinion people will start to realize it really isn't much of a good gun. The sheild is just stupid, just carrying it makes me feel like a noob.

Famas sux big, no real stopping power there. The Gali is great I've picked people off from across the map no prob. The shield is OK but i never use it but i don't really mind when others do when i play T.

What does piss me off a bit is when you play on a Pub and the entire CT team rush with Shields, i think that the Shield has ruined Italy a bit because of all the narrow Streets etc. But apart from that i don't mind it.



LOL sorry and on topic, if people want to play cs on Xbox, well let em these is room for everybody. I don't like FP shooters with a joy pad, mainly cos i cant get used to the joy pad myself, does XBox have a Keyboard and Mouse attachment? And more importantly do they have to pay to play the game online? We just pay our ISP our line subs and we play a lot of games for free.

i was using the shield since the beta steam was out and it gradually gets boring to use and i havent used it once since the public release of steam, maybe people will get bored of the shield also?

Why do so many people say that P90/autosnipers/UMP/etc never ever get used (in pubs)? I see them used all the time... use them myself, too. M4/AK/Galil/Deagle/AWP all the time gets boring.
