LOL - "direct brain connection" ROFLMAO. RadioShack is cheaper and I have no problems with their stuff...yet. Course - if I roll over the super-long cable a few more times with my chair...

I prefer actually owning the box and the CD.

Steam is better for the environment(no plastics and paper), no super fragile CD's, you don't have to leave the house to buy it and you get it instantly all patched up. Maybe I'm just being an old coot though as I don't like steam at all. I don't like the idea of the game not existing in some kind of physical form.

I'm sure it's the future but I'll stay away from it till there's no alternative.

i would like to use steam to purchase my games but if you lose your internet access, you no longer have those games, so you pay 40 dollars or whatever for a game and lose it. On the other hand, if they actually made files available on the cache so you could back the game up that would be great but i suppose if they did that someone could just put it on kazaa and the developers would lose a buch of money.

Having the actual box is alot nicer. I really think buying games over Steam is never going to take off properly.

i don't really like buying things online. i just don't trust the Internet with my money. So i would prefer to by a game physically than digitally.

Boxes for me! An actual copy of a game is unique.

I just feel really uncomfortable with the whole Steam concept :/
