The recall process is completely Constitutional. I mean the Constitution is over 200 years old... it must be absurd too since it's that old, right? There are laws on the books against killing other people that are much older than the recall law. Does that make them absurd as well? The recall process has been tried at least 30 times, including on the former California Governor Ronald Reagan. However this is the first time it has ever made it to a ballot vote. That just shows you how hard it is to actually start this process. Don't buy into the whole "Right-wing conspiracy" garbage since good ol' Gray Davis' approval numbers are around 20%. Which means that people across party lines want him out. Also, there are other Democrat gubernatorial candidates, so how exactly is this a Conservative coup again? That's right, it isn't. Fox News might lean right, but then again, at least they don't pay the blatantly obvious lip-service to the left like CNN, ABC, and CBS do. (Just to name a few.)

back to the riot shield i think with the nerf it still just might find its way into league play. it's damn usefull in certain situations even if your out of a gun. I think movement speed with the shield deployed should be slowed a bit more or we might actually have to come up with counter tactics for it and god forbid they change anything in CS am i rite guys (sorry poan)Comment

the shield is far too glitchy for a release in it's current state... it's too hard to kill someone with it even when you should be able to... it needs to ONLY block in the direction it's pointed. Look at UT's shield for a reference... it works like it's supposed to.
BTW, I think the T's should be able to carry more nades... I mean, cmon, the leet model already has an extra pistol strapped to his leg regardless of his current gun.Comment

The recall election is a joke, just because you don't like the damn guy you voted for doesn't mean you get to kick him out when you please. The current financial problems isn't the fault of Gray Davis, was he responsible for the dot com bust? The dot com fallout meant a lot of tax revenue lost, but of course, who saw it coming...?
And then all the rolling blackouts in 2001, he didn't forget to pay the electric bill did he? I think there was a company at fault named Enron for that one...
And if the recall were to happen, only those who actually voted in the previous election should be allowed to vote in the recall, it's only fair. If you didn't vote, why should you have a say?
If we could have a recall on every crappy politician that didn't do his job or have a good popularity rating, I think we'd see half our politicians kicked out of office.Comment

People are so quick to blame republicans... Quit being a fucktard and take the time to look it up. California was fucked on all sides. The only answer is the Terminator. Why? Two reasons, one, he makes California a joke ON PURPOSE for once, which I prefer over the accidental 'hey, we're morons' thing we've had so far, and two, I like the contradiction of a fiscal republican and a social liberal.
