The current financial problems isn't the fault of Gray Davis, was he responsible for the dot com bust? The dot com fallout meant a lot of tax revenue lost, but of course, who saw it coming...?

Actually, Governor Davis not only cut spending of many important Californian programs, but raised taxes so ridiculously high that business, and therefore jobs, and therefore tax revenue, started leaving the state. So not only do Californians have to deal with cut programs, but also high taxes and not being able to find a good job.

And then all the rolling blackouts in 2001, he didn't forget to pay the electric bill did he? I think there was a company at fault named Enron for that one...

California was trying to use "conservation" techniques to cut down on their "dependence" on oil. However, they either underestimated the power consumption needs of the state or believed too strongly in "conservation" and that is why Californians have/had rolling blackouts.

Actually Arnold isn't all that Conservative when it comes to fiscal policy either. I judge this by what little he has said so far besides "It's time to clean house!" and "We need leadership!"
