I never got that Steam Ticket ID error until AFTER this update. I logged out then back in, and now I can't connect to ANY server because apparently every server is using an older protocol (or something) than my client.



I'm trying to be supportive of Steam, but it's getting harder and harder.

Has anyone gotten an error when trying to connect to a server saying server protocol running (46) your client is running protocol (47)... or something like that

when i try to update my steam it goes for a few seconds and than says: Steam has found the following problem with your game:

SteamProcessCall(WaitForAppReadyToLaunch) failed with error 15: Cache Read Failure, errno 13 "Permission Denied"



The game data cache needs to be flushed in order to run.

Do you wish to continue?

what should i do? when hit ok than it does nothing. Any ideas?

Make sure that Steam is completely closed. Then go into you Steam folder and delete the clientregistry.blob file. Start Steam up again and it should update itself without many problems.

The server issnt updated yet.

There is nothing wrong with your client

and i dont have a clue on what half of the steam updates mean :s

glad to see steam is improving constantly. hopefully it will give them more time to add features to the games (or possibly add support for new mods?)

Good to see they are still doing updates for the non valve mods.



I hope they keep updating the browser to give it ASE type functionality.

This is a bad update. Stay away from it!



Steam will no longer start and crashes with this error:

steam.exe(main exception): Win32 StructuredException at 0184A83B : Attempt to read from virtual address 5461839 without appropriate access rights

under the games filter they now have czero... lol like that tab will ever be used. ;p
