problem with the skin I'm using? It's whatever default skin they ship with it, because I've never touched that, and it still has the label problems.

administrators of the steam site, i registered at the steam forums and i can't post any replys, comments, or anything, it says that my account needs to be activated. i've been registered for months, and i get no activation email or anything, can you please help me out?, again my username is "itzalvinxd" and my email is alvinliu16@yahoo.com, i prefer you guys answering me on this comments page.

You arent listed on the Members page, try recreating an acount

kind of bad having too much friends, because then you'll hear friends sounds over and over...unless you turn em off..but then you can't be alerted

also thanks bullet_head, i guess i have to make a new email address..still i need to get permision from the administartors to approve my account in order to start postin'...

why don't they just activate my "itzalvinxd" account, i'm able to sign in with it...just cant post..

Go to Program Files then to the Steam folder and look for a file called ClientRegistry.blob, delete this file then restart Steam. It will do a little update and then ask you to log in again and the button and tab name bug will be fixed.

Ok, Steam is working rather well lately. Lets go to all 1.6 now damnit! I want all our regulars back on our server instead of playing on all the 1.5 servers :)

Very true. Was becoming an annoyance but only have the sound to occur when any of them chats to me now. Notification of friends going into games and signing on gets right on your nerves!

I know Steam is a client that by it's very nature recieves regular updates but after one of the longest Beta test's that I can remember, it seem dreadfully buggy. How many bug fixes since release now?

I didnt have the roo problem last night when i updated. But when i started it up this morning i got the bloody roo problem!!!! NO!!!!

found the fix:)

--> close steam

--> goto C:\program files\steam

--> delete clientregistry.blob

--> Restart Steam



--> FIXED !!!
