Works better for me now. This is just what I've been hoping with this software.. Quick updates and patches, should make this program kick ass in about 6 months or so. Until then, I'll just hope it co-works great with ASE, which is the best software when looking for those servers.



BTW, it seems that the slow startup of Steam is due to overloaded servers.. When you click on the icon, and it doesn't seem to do anything, it's actually trying to get authentication from overloaded servers.

Yay, another update. More reason to delete 1.6 and go back to 1.5. At least in 1.5 i dont have to wait 5 mins to load the game, just to see an "invalid steam ticket" message the first three times. then I log in on the fourth try with the same name/pass every time. 20 mins wasted for 1.6, and it takes me 5 secs to load 1.5.

Doesn't seem like they care about what most people say. If they did, they would have scrapped steam a long time ago.

What i dont understand is that we used to have to authenticate with WON everytime we wanted to play cs and that never (read:very rarely) failed. Cant a similiar system be used to authenticate Steam when it starts up.

Something is wrong in the world of Steam and Counter-Strike 1.6. I just played a game of De_Train, went 18.4, and NOONE USED A SHIELD AT ALL DURING THE WHOLE MAP! Am I dreaming? Losing my mind maybe? This can't be right. It's just not 1.6 unless six CT's are using shields. :\

the only thing bad about steam is that it refuses to remember my pass... i guess i will have to remember it instead
