Will people please stop ranting about the shield!



Fix the exploits, make slower movment. AND THE SHIELD IS FINE!



The shield is the best installment to CS yet. As soo as the exploits get fixed it cant be more then perfect!



If you cant kill someone with the shield, I am sorry you just suck. Its very easy. Dont just sit there and shoot at him when hes covered. BE PATIENT! WOW, I have never seen a bigger group of babies who are pissed over their own arogance and mistakes.



3 words! ADAPT! AND! PLAY!



Btw, GJ VALVe on the quick updates. Stema ran fine for me from teh start but seems to run better.



Also, steam running slow is not a fault in the program itself. Everytime you connect steam will connect to a certin server. Go to www.steampowered.com and click status to see the servers and how full they are. If steam connects to a server that is low on bandwidth, thay will allocate for the slow loading ect...just shut it down and boot it back up again to see if it goes to a new server.



When more servers are available for steam, this problem will go away.

To fix the Invalid Steam userID you go to options.. and log out.. then open steam back up and log in.. fixed..

And Opie, this "Adapt and Play" idea is why the CS community doesn't get what they want. You think the Colonist should of adapted to the Tea Tax? Hell no. The idea is to boycott and stand your ground against VALVe's ideas to get them to listen.

Yup, thanks for the info but I found this method too by myself. I swear sometimes rather than create good Valve goes and opens the gates of hell on us.

Come on.. tell me a game or program that has been relased that didn't have bugs... Sooner or later they are fixed.. When it's all said and done everyone should be happy.. So just relax.. no need to boycot anything.. it's not really affecting your well being.. unless your entire life is based around CS then maybe.. but it all works fine for me.. except for a hick-up here and there.. But they are easily fixed.. Just give them time to fix the bugs.. They fixed some STEAM issues.. it's a lot faster now.. they will continue to upgrade it.. Then they will release bug fixes and what-not for 1.6 and there you go.. If the CT's get a shield.. why not give the T's sticky bombs.. so they stick to the shield.. muhaha.. Might as well throw in some remote detonated nail grenades and remote controleld robot can re fill ammo and grab people and toss them in a cage on it's back...
