It looks like that they want a wide spectrum of computer specs to see how it runs. They dont want to just give it to people with 2.2ghz p4 with gf4's and then when they release, find out no one can run it.

Dont u guys think that Valve should make the jumping a tidbit better..

Like let us jump for like 4 to 5 jumps then we slow down. alot of ppl i was beta testing with hated it but everything else is nice!! nice new maps SICK SICK SICK!!

Something tells me they won't want people with 8 MB vid cards (like me) to test because those vid cards are just so off-the-spectrum. Then again, maybe they will realise that I am one to persevere using an 8 MB card, and of course I've read countless tweaking guides so I now get 35 - 50 fps in 800x600 OpenGL, even with high-quality smoke grenades going off all around.

you are missing and it can't be that expensiv and the GForce 4 is

quite good .
