We are very sorry that this has happened. As a developer, you get one shot to launch your game. There is an unprecedented amount of games being released every day on Steam and we want to launch with the best version possible of Shoppe Keep 2.
There are many games with an online focus that launch nowadays with major issues and game-breaking bugs. Rather than to launch something and then fix it, we prefer to fix things and then launch them.
We understand that there are many of you who have been following us for weeks or even months and this is of course disappointing. We are truly sorry that we have had to delay the game, and we are as disappointed as you are.
Please know that Shoppe Keep 2’s Early Access launch will be much smoother thanks to this short delay.

Today's announcement also notes that there will be discount vouchers going out to owners of the original Shoppe Keep game and those that own Craft Keep VR. There will also be a special in-game item in Shoppe Keep 2 for owners of those previous games.
Without a discount, Shoppe Keep 2 will retail for $12.99 (USD). A Digital Deluxe Edition will release alongside the standard version and will go for $17.92. Welcome to the world of Shoppe Keep 2, Customerania - a whimsical open world surrounded by rolling countryside, packed full of quaint little houses, six foot spiders, voracious wolves, angry mobs and of course your new Shoppe. Shoppe Keep 2 is a single player and multiplayer enhanced merchant simulator, inspired by the NPCs we know and love from classic RPGs and MMOs. While adventurers and rogues are out slaying dangerous beasts and selling an alarming amount of stolen plates, cheese and bread, it's you, our trusty merchant who is keeping their shelves stocked.
