Though the community can be a downright cesspool at the best of times, that hasn't seem to stopped the ongoing development of the game. PlayerUnknown himself, Brendan Greene, thanked the ever-raging community for their support while saying that their fans are "passionate" when they provide what is often nothing more than hostile feedback. Beyond that, Greene and Chang Han Kim (CEO and Executive Producer) provided a quick peak at the upcoming island map for PUBG.
This map was first revealed as part of the PUBG 2018 roadmap announcement just about a week ago. This map is just 4x4km in size to create faster matches and more intense battles. To those unaware, the other two maps in PUBG are 8x8km in size.
From the quick look we got, the map's theme seems to be somewhat Asian in style? To be more specific, it certainly looks like the areas we saw wouldn't be out of place in a game located within Vietnam.
