  • Call of Duty: WWII Emblem Editor and New Map Release Date; Thanksgiving Double XP Weekend

We have a healthy dose of new Call of Duty: WWII news for fans today. First up, December 8 marks the release date of the PC emblem editor. On this date, the Winter Carentan map will also be released. This date also marks the start of the "Winter Siege" Seasonal Community Event, the first of however many such events that are planned.
One of the most beloved maps in Call of Duty history is now set in the cold and snowy winter of 1944 and will be free to all players for a limited time during the event and will be added to all MP game modes. Be sure to check out Domination and Hardpoint, they’re two of our studio favorites for Winter Carentan. We can’t wait to play online with you. Also, we have weekly Winter Siege rewards for players that join us throughout the event, and we’ll have more to share in the coming weeks.

Those looking to score some bonus XP can dive into the game right now. The Thanksgiving double XP event started at 10AM (PT) today and will conclude at 10AM on Monday, November 27.

Sledgehammer notes that there is a game update coming next week. This update will fix map exploits, improve the UI, fix issues with the Party system, optimize the connection, and more.
