  • The Sims 4 Coming to Xbox and PlayStation this November

When November 17th hits, console owners will finally be able to play The Sims 4. This is assuming they haven't already played it on the PC and/or Mac before then. You'll have all of the features that are available to the PC crowd available to you through your trusty controller.
From creating unique Sims and building amazing homes to developing Sim’s relationships and pursuing careers, The Sims 4 delivers the same emotional connection our PC players cherish to a new wave of console players. Fans will enjoy being empowered to create and control people in a vibrant virtual world as they experience life’s unpredictable, entertaining moments along the way.

As with The Sims 4 on PC, console players can experience and test life’s limits in a world where there are no rules. Fans will have the power to create unique Sims, customizing everything from their hair color and style to their fashion choices and life aspirations. With the room-based Build Mode, players can design and pick décor, effortlessly building their dream home. In the mood to explore? Sims can check out the various neighborhoods and dynamic venues the world offers.

We all know that The Sims 4 has a ton of DLC available for it, so what exactly will PS4 and XB1 owners get to experience come November 17? It seems as though EA and Maxis are being a bit cheeky on the subject.

Officially, the press release says that it will include the base game (obviously) "plus many of the additional content update added to The Sims 4 post-launch." In addition, "fans can also look forward to periodic game updates and extra content releases" after the game launches.

Now, if you pre-order the game you will get The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff pack that has hot tubs and outdoor stuff. You can also pre-order The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition and get the full game plus a three day jumpstart on the release date. The Deluxe Party Edition also includes the Flaming Tiki Bar, "outrageous costumes, silly animal hates, and more." This version also comes with that Perfect Patio Stuff pack. ON TOP OF THAT, those who have EA Access will get to play The Sims 4 up to five days ahead of the game's official November 17 launch, because release dates don't even matter anymore. Like seriously, what's even the point.
