Earlier today the official announcement trailer for Project Cars 2 was revealed by Bandai Namco. Slated for release in late 2017, the game will be out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The press release says Project Cars 2 will run at up to "12K" resolution on PC with VR support. The "12K" is actually just running the game across three 4K monitors, which isn't actually 12K by any means.
