During EA Play, BioWare showed off a brief behind the scenes video for Mass Effect Andromeda. The video shows off what seems to be some actual gameplay footage running on Frostbite and ends with what seems to be a female protagonist.
As someone that went through all three games as female Shepard, this is quite awesome. Unfortunately, they said that more will be revealed this Fall.
