Miitomo, some weird mobile game by Nintendo that is a bit like a Mii version of The Sims and social media was released today on Android and iOS mobile devices. This is Nintendo's first release on modern smartphones.
You can purchase clothes using in-game currency. This currency can be accumulated by interacting with the Miis of friends and completing various challenges and daily objectives. There is some weird Plinko style minigame that will unlock special clothing items. You can sometimes answer a variety of questions, which will then be relayed to your friends once they fire up the app.
It's kind of weird. It's probably less weird than the North American launch trailer is, though.
