Twitch released their look back at 2015 today and with it comes some rather surprising facts. For instance, did you know that streamers produced over 241,441,000,000 worth of content in 2015 alone?
The top 10 games streamed on Twitch include ten titles that were all released before 2015.
While most of Twitch's viewers continue to watch via the desktop (56%), mobile and console viewing saw huge gains in 2015. Mobile watching now accounts for 35% of the total views and console watching is around 7%.
Other interesting stats include the fact that there were over 2.1 million peak monthly broadcasters and only 13,476 partners (there go all your hopes and dreams of making it big on Twitch, right?). In 2015, nearly 9.17 billion messages were sent. And of course, the most used Twitch emote was the Kappa emote. Go figure.
More stats, including talk about charities, TwitchCon, and more can be found at the Twitch year in review for 2015.
