    DEVELOPER SESSIONS
12:30 PM - 1:20 PM: Developer Session - Deconstructing “Bullet Train”
Presented by: Epic Games Lead Engineer Nick Whiting
About this session: This year’s hot topic in VR is interaction and motion controllers. Much like how we’ve had to learn to rethink our game and camera design for head mounted displays, motion controllers force us to rethink our interactions. We’ll discuss the design and technical considerations that were a part of building Epic’s Bullet Train demo, as well as lessons learned in creating experiences powered by Unreal Engine 4 as the medium of VR has evolved.

2:30 PM - 3:20 PM: Developer Session - The Unsolved Problems of VR
Presented by: Epic Games Seattle Studio Manager Ray Davis
    • Additional presenter include: Oculus VR’s Tom Forsyth, Valve Software’s Aaron Leiby, and AMD’s Lead Architecht of VR & Advanced Rendering Layla Mah.
Moderated by: VRLA founder John Root
About this session: Right now we’ve got better virtual reality than we’ve ever had. It’s capable of tricking our lizard brains into thinking we are standing in front of a large crowd or looking out over a steep ledge. However, our more advanced selves are very aware that we are looking at a crude approximation of reality. How do we improve on that?

Moderated by John Root founder of VRLA, this panel will discuss what problems are left to solve in the near, mid and long term future of VR.
