Wii U Virtual Console to Add Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS Games

As part of Nintendo's April 1st Nintendo Direct show, they revealed some great news for fans of the Wii U Virtual Console. The Virtual Console will now include both Nintendo 64 and Nintendo DS games. The Wii U's GamePad will serve as the "second screen" for the DS games when played on the Virtual Console.

The games offered from the N64 and DS begin today and include the following games for $9.99 (USD) each.

Yoshi Touch & Go - April 9 ($9.99)
WarioWare Touched! - April 9 ($9.99)
Donkey Kong 64 - April 16 ($9.99)
Mario Kart DS - April 23 ($9.99)
Paper Mario - April 30 ($9.99)

The $9.99 isn't the only price. The prices will range from $9.99 - $11.99 for Nintendo 64 games. DS titles will run from $6.99 - $9.99. Already bought some N64 games for the Wii? You will be able to reacquire those on the Wii U for just $2.
