Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto V today for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Rebuilt and enhanced specifically for these new platforms, Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One includes an all-new First Person Mode, allowing players to experience the world of Los Santos and Blaine County in an entirely new way.
Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One also features a range of sweeping visual and technical upgrades, including vastly increased draw distances, new weather and lighting effects and an increased resolution of 1080p on both platforms. The world of Los Santos and Blaine County is deeper and more immersive than ever with new weapons, vehicles and activities, additional wildlife, and over 150 additional songs across the game's 17 radio stations.
Enhancements to Grand Theft Auto Online for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One include the seamless integration of First Person Mode and online play for up to 30 players. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One with much more to come.
Existing players can transfer their Grand Theft Auto Online characters and progression to their choice of PlayStation®4 or Xbox One. Returning players also get access to exclusive new content in including rare versions of classic vehicles to collect from across the Grand Theft Auto series, such as the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane and a faster, more maneuverable Blimp; new activities, collectibles, weapons and much more.
