Vivendi is now down to owning just 6% of Activision Blizzard after it sold off an additional $850 million of stock today. This follows Vivendi's sale of $5.83 billion worth of stock back in July of 2013.
Vivendi's continued sale of stock in Activision Blizzard is being done in an effort to make up for shortcomings in other areas of its business. Vivendi will not be able to sell any more of its remaining 6% until 2015.
