  • Microsoft Announces Xbox One Without Kinect for $399

Microsoft has just announced that they will be releasing a Kinect-less Xbox One bundle and pricing the system at $399 (USD) starting June 9 in all markets where the system is sold. Microsoft has also revealed that the "Games with Gold" program will kick off this June for the Xbox One, starting with Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.

In addition to all of that, they also revealed that many streaming services like Twitch, HBO GO, and numerous others, will now be free to everyone. Yes, they're stripping the absurd paywall from being able to access these services, so that you can now access the services on the Xbox 360 or Xbox One without having to pay for Xbox Live Gold.

Finally, they also announced their "Deals with Gold" program for Xbox One users. This new program, also kicking off in June, will offer big savings on Xbox One titles such as Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome at the start. This, along with the Games with Gold, still also apply to the Xbox 360 as well. That means that each month you can get up to four titles (two on 360, two on One) and save on more across both platforms.

Phil Spencer being made the Head of Xbox might have just been the best thing to ever happen to that division at Microsoft.
