    Activision Believes Destiny will be Best-Selling New IP Ever

    Activision is placing some extreme confidence in Bungie's upcoming massively multiplayer shooter. During a conference call, Bobby Kotick said that he expects Destiny to be the best selling new IP ever released.
    "We expect that Destiny will become the best-selling new video game IP in history when it launches across Xbox and PlayStation consoles on September 9," Kotick told investors.

    See? I told you. He went on to say that he feels the game has the potential to be the company's next billion dollar franchise. CEO and President of Activision Publishing, Eric Hirshberg, says that Destiny is on track to be the most pre-ordered new IP ever.
