Report: This Probably Fake List of Xbox One Launch Games Includes Halo 5, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Mirror's Edge 2, and More

This image mysteriously appeared on the Internet today. It was supposed to be a leaked look at some Xbox One launch titles but most people are saying it's fake. There are a lot of discrepancies in the image, including the terrible looking logo for Halo 5.

    We can see listed:
    Banjo Kazooie: Grunty Land
    Forza Motorsport 5
    Halo: Spartan Assault
    Fable IV
    Dead Rising 3(?)
    Quantum Break
    Halo 5

Sleuths have noted the lack of quality on the logo for Halo 5 in addition to the lack of trademark consistency in the logos, and the fact that Dead Rising 3 has the 3 where the "a" is though it probably should be a substitute for the "e" in Dead. The Banjo Kazooie logo is a modified logo from something back in January 2012.

The interesting thing here is that Lionhead Studios did actually just open up some new forums for the Fable series. In fact, they opened them up today. In addition to that, Microsoft has registered domains for Halo: Spartan Assault this past week. They include SpartanAssault.net, HaloSpartanAssault.com, Halo-SpartanAssault.net, HaloSpartanAssault.net, and Halo-SpartanAssault.com. These two games might be a reality given some of these new details.

The other games, such as Forza Motorsport 5 and Quantum Break have already been confirmed for the Xbox One.

On top of this, however, is another list of rumored titles that is also circulating around the net today.
    Halo 5
    Killer Instinct
    Banjo Kazooie 4
    Forza Motorsport 5
    Quantum Break
    Halo: Spartan Assault
    Ryse
    Fable 4
    Crackdown 3
    Fortnite
    Dead Rising 3
    Call of Duty: Ghosts
    Battlefield 4
    Witcher 3
    Dying Light
    Prey 2
    Homefront 2
    Beyond Good & Evil 2
    Mirror's edge 2
    Rainbow 6 Patriots
    Brother in Arms
    League of legends

    Capcom Next gen lineup:
Dead Rising 3 (XB1 exclusive. Capcom Vancouver)
Dragon's Dogma 2 (PS4 exclusive, DD team doing it)
Darkstalkers Reborn (Wii-U Exclusive. Funded by Nintendo, Dimps + Ono)
Marvel Vs Capcom 4 (Both. Eighting + Capcom. Also "Expandable" and also allegedly taking advantage of Microsoft's E-Sports platform tools they gave to developers)
Megaman (both consoles, PC and done by "A very good US developer who you won't expect but would be very happy to hear is doing it")
    New IP from Capcom Vancouver
    New IP from Ninja Theory

Again, that is merely speculation at this point. One particular item that could also be discredited from that second list is Prey 2, which was recently said to have been started over from scratch at Arkane. So that one is probably not being released any time this year.

We are one week away from hopefully putting this stuff to bed once and for all.

And by that you mean one week from the relief of your headache from being dragged into reporting all these pre-E3 misinformation.

My thoughts on the game list? Bullcrap. Moving on.

More like I'm one week away from next to no sleep for at least the first couple of days of E3, namely during the conferences.
