Today has been one of those days of misinformation, corrections, and backtracking. I'm not even just talking about the mess that has been the Xbox One reveal. No, I'm also talking about Electronic Arts.
Today, during the Stifel Nicolaus 2013 Internet, Media and Communications Conference, EA's CFO Blake Jorgensen said that the company is still making games for the Wii U. This is a direct contradiction to earlier statements made by Jeff Brown saying that the company had no Wii U titles in development and a reveal that EA Sports would not bring FIFA 14 and Madden NFL 25 to the console.
He went on to say:
While he does say that they will be making games for the Wii U, their focus will be on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
You know what would be really awesome? If these companies got their facts straight the first time they issue a statement to the public! That would just be awesome. Instead, I now need to go find a table that I can flip out of frustration.

"You know, I think Nintendo's business was more [an] extension of their last console.
"I think what the consumer will find is a lot more powerful gameplay with the new boxes that are coming out, and a lot of excitement, but it'll remain to be seen as to the services associated with those as to how consumers decide which direction they might want to go."
